In short

Analysis-Lernbegleiter is a desktop app that runs on your own computer. There is no developer-operated server: your data is never transmitted to, stored, analysed or shared by the developer.

Data the app processes

• your copy of the lecture notes and the exercises generated from it,
• your learning progress (a local database),
• your submitted solutions and their gradings.

This data is stored in the location you choose during setup: a folder on your computer or Google Drive.

Google Drive

If you choose Google Drive, you sign in with your Google account and allow the app to use these scopes:

• drive.appdata – create, read and update files in the hidden app data folder of your Google Drive. The app has no access to any other files in your Drive.
• openid, email – your email address, so the app can show which account is connected.

The app stores only the learning data listed above in the app data folder and keeps it in sync with a local copy on your computer. The sign-in token is stored encrypted on your computer (on Windows with DPAPI, readable only by your user account). You can sign out in the app or revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The app does not share data from Google Drive with third parties or use it for advertising.

Automatic grading

To grade a submission, the app sends it together with the exercise to Google Gemini, using either your own Gemini API key or the Antigravity CLI with your own sign-in. The terms you agreed to with Google for that service apply. The developer receives no data.

Deletion

To delete local data, delete your storage folder and the app's data folder (%APPDATA%\Analysis-Lernbegleiter). To delete the app data folder in Google Drive, go to Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → Analysis-Lernbegleiter → “Delete hidden app data”.
